When ragyng loue with extreme payne
The soote season, that bud and blome furth bringes
Set me wheras the sonne dothe perche the grene
Love that doth raine and live within my thought
In Cypres springes, wheras dame Venus dwelt
I never saw youe, madam, laye aparte
Alas so all thinges nowe doe holde their peace
The golden gift that Nature did thee geve
From Tuscan cam my ladies worthi race
The fansy, which that I haue serued long
The sonne hath twyse brought forthe the tender grene
Geue place ye louers, here before
Suche waiwarde waies hath love that moste parte in discorde
